LaTonia’s Biography
LaTonia Walker is a leader in women's empowerment. She is Director of Coaching and Training at COTS, an organization providing emergency shelter, affordable housing, and coaching services in the city of Detroit. The team she leads works with families in generational poverty, partnering with them in their efforts to break the cycle of poverty in their lives.

LaTonia is the Founder & CEO of The Ladies League Social Network for Women. The founding chapter is The Ladies League of Detroit, sister chapter The Ladies League of Baltimore, and The Ladies League of Detroit University of Michigan Ann Arbor Student Chapter. The League offers sisterhood, personal & professional development, and networking for women.

LaTonia provides trainings and workshops in the areas of Emotional Intelligence, Trauma Informed Care, and Women’s Empowerment. She has a unique approach and ability to connect with audiences on all levels. She also has a unique combination of education, personal, and professional experience.​

LaTonia regularly shares her personal testimony of overcoming early life challenges and using those challenges to find purpose. She was a teenage mother at the age of 14, lost her first child when she was 4 years old, experienced homelessness, depression, and troubled personal relationships. She has overcome all of those trials through her relationship with God and personal development. She now operates in her purpose to empower women to live more fulfilling lives.

LaTonia holds a Bachelor of Business from Baker College, Licensed Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, and is a graduate of Leadership Detroit. She has one adult daughter, Imani.
